Hi, I’m Kerrin Maclean — the founder and creative force behind Aspie Answers Collective — and known by many from my earlier journey online as Aspie Answers. 🌷

This space began as a personal mission — to raise awareness, build connection, and support others like me navigating life through a neurodivergent lens. What started as a YouTube channel in 2013, then a podcast in 2018, and eventually two heartfelt books, has now blossomed into this cozy, creative shop rooted in compassion, design, and self-expression.

Proudly on the autism spectrum, I know the magic and the challenges of seeing the world through a different lens.

Aspie Answers Collective was born to be more than a cute shop — it’s a safe space for self-expression, gentle creativity, and affirming products that say:
“You are not too much. You are enough.”

Each piece — whether back-to-school stationery, cozy clothing, or sensory-friendly lifestyle goods — is thoughtfully crafted with neurodivergent, creative, and sensitive minds in mind. Always soft. Always intentional. Always a little magical. ✨

🐾 A BIT ABOUT ME

📍 I’m based in New Zealand, where I spend my time creating, journaling, and advocating for autism and mental health.
🖋 I published my first book Life of an Aspie in 2016, and my second, Love, Life, Aspie, in 2025 — both deeply personal reflections of my journey.
📚 In 2024, I hosted author reading events in Palmerston North, Levin, and Foxton, followed by an Autism Workshop in 2025 called All About Autism — sharing insights and experiences with others in my local community.
💖 I’m passionate about storytelling, education, and using soft visuals, colors, and gentle words to connect and comfort.
